Disadvantages: words on bottle mean nothing

i bought the shampoo for my 7mth old son when i used the shampoo a little went into his eyes this eyes swelt up,developed a rash and was screaming unconsolably for ages.the product was sent away to be tested but never was as i was asured it was ok.the words tearless and hypoallergenic do not mean a thing as i was told like every other detergent if in contact with eyes wash immediatly but on the bottle it mentions nothing like that.so u use the product thinking it is safe for ur baby,i am seeking advice as i am not happy with boots response.
