... 'flow' more freely, so no more clumps of wipes coming out at one time, meaning you have to stuff most of them back through the hole! The plastic lid and rim seem to prevent this. It also means they are harder for little hand to open - very important in our house as I have a pair of little hands that just loves to empty a pack of baby wipes all over the living room floor when my back is turned! The lid now gives me 'running time' as he struggles to open the pack I have usually reached my son and taken the pack away befor et...more

Crowned Review Boots Baby Wipes: Cheaper better bum care! (520 words)

For nigh on two and half years I have been using baby wipes, there is a huge seletion of wipes out there Pampers, Johnsons, stores own etc all screaming for your attention. It can be a minefield as some of them are really substandard. I have found through extensive use, the two best on the market well in my opinion anyway! Boots own High performance soft cloth wipes with baby lotion. These are a great and cheaper alternative to Pampers (green packet). The Boots wipes claim to prevent the causes of nappy rash - great stuff but does it work? Well in my opinion, yes it does, James never had nappy rash due to using these wipes plus they did not ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Great Wipes (496 words)

I have tried lots of different brands of baby wipes since having my son 9 months ago and a few weeks ago I found a pack of Boots Baby Wipes in the airing cupboard which had been opened but not finished. I remember that I had these in the house (for removing make-up and a bit of general cleaning) since before he was born .. basiaclly meaning that these had probably been opened for a year or so! The plastic 'lid' which seals the top provides great mositure protection and these wipes were still in great nick. The reason I had not bought any since having my son was purely on a friends complete rejection of them. We were in a Boots when our babies were around 6 ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Boots Baby Wipes: Not just for babies. (745 words)

With my two children now in their teens, my need to buy "baby" products is some way in the distant past. No longer do I have to compare nappy brands, or puree baby foods, and although my two can still give an excellent demonstration of a toddler-tantrum, we have moved away from the baby aisle in Boots and Tescos. But despite our ageing years, I still have a constant demand for Baby wipes....and these Boots Soft cloth ones are my wipe of choice, and have been for some time (partly because they are almost always on BOGOF or 3 for 2 in Boots stores!). So, what do I use them for? Well, for a start - it is always useful to have a wipe ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Top Boots Wipes! (530 words)

As I am trying many ways to try save the extra pennies at the moment I am using a lower brand in most products and so far quite impressed with what I've been using. Having twin boys who are just 16months old I go through hell of alot of wetwipes, so I used to buy Johnsons or Pampers when they were on offer buy one get one free in Boots, however they are nearly £2 for just one pack anyway. I spotted Boots own wipes though, at a £1 a pack, sometimes on offer for 3 packs for £2.70 or even buy one get one free too. They were not easy to miss on the shelves in their bright purple packets and clearly stating that they are the Boots brand on the side in ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Boots Baby Wipes: These Boots are made for Wiping (496 words)
by - written on 16/02/09 (Very useful, 43 readings)
Rating:

I have two children who are now too old to use baby wipes for their intended purpose, however I now often wonder how I ever managed before baby wipes were in our house. The Boots brand Baby Soft Cloth Wipes are a variety that , to be honest, I only usually buy when they are on special offer: They are usually priced around £1.99 which is a little bit steep for what they are, and I usually pick up a cheaper version at the supermarket. However, when on a special offer they are a good budget buy which are good quality too, especially when you take into account the extra Advantage Card points. The packaging is deep purple, semi see-through, with a ...  Read the complete review
