I am a fan of Boots own brand products and think they are equally as good as many of the more expensive brands I have tried. I have used Boots baby wipes for several years now and am very pleased with them.

The product
***********
Boots make several different types of baby wipes .The basic baby wipes cost £1.69 for 80 wipes. I found these wipes too small and rough on my son’s skin so gave up on these. I Prefer Boots sensitive skin baby wipes which cost £3.75 for re-usable tub that holds 72 wipes. When you have finished the tub you can buy a cheaper refill pack at a cost of £2.55 for 72 wipes.

The wipes are clinically tested to be kind to sensitive skin and are even recommended for babies with eczema. My son suffers with eczema in the summer and has a very sensitive skin generally. These wipes have never irritated his skin unlike Tescos own.

Although the wipes are fragrance free they do have a very slightly scented smell that is quite pleasant. The wipes are a good size and lovely and soft to use, almost like using a cloth. They feel very moist and are easy to use. Unlike some other brands, these wipes do not tear easily.

I think these wipes are equally as good as Pampers, the leading brand.

I use these wipes not just for nappy changing, but also for wiping sticky hands and faces. I always carry a pack in my bag when I go out. My husband was very grateful recently when he had to change a tyre and got covered in oil in the process. The wipes cleaned him up well!

I recommend that you buy the tub initially as the refill packs open by peeling back a plastic cover. The wipes dry out quickly if they are exposed to the air and the tub helps to prevent this. Boots sensitive skin baby wipes come in a blue and white plastic pack.

It is not recommended that you dispose of these down the loo. If you are using a disposable nappy then simply wrap the soiled wipe up with the nappy and place in a nappy sack. If you haven’t tried these wipes then I recommend them to you without hesitation!

I'm glad we no longer have a need for things like these!

Super review - no waffling! Baby wipes are also good for removing make-up!

Sound like a good deal. But I don't need these anymore. Perhaps, some day I'll have grandchildren...
