Advantages: Easy to use, effective cleansing wipes

Disadvantages: none

Thankfully all of my nieces and nephews are out of nappies, I should hope so in their teens! All except for the new addition which I sometimes have to perform Auntie duties with and last weekend was no exception, despite Sundays being a supposed day of rest!

~ Price ~

Boots often have BOGOF offers on their baby wipes so I got 2 packs of 72 for £1.69.

When you compare this with other brands this is a good buy:
Johnson & Johnson £2.60 for 72 wipes
'Simple' Baby wipes £2.69

~ Boots Baby Wipes ~

Boots now have a few varieties of baby wipes:
* Sensitive baby wipes
* Fragrance free baby soft cloth wipes
* Baby soft cloth wipes ~ I plumped for these wipes because of the BOGOF offer.

~ Packaging ~

These wipes come in a purple packet / wallet type thing.

At the top there is a plastic rectangular section which flips open and shut to keep the wipes moist inside. This is very easy to use and can be done single-handed which is an all important feature when you have your other hand full of the babies legs!

Inside the lid there is an adequate size circle cut out, through which the wipes are pulled.

One thing I did notice, as is the case with most wipes that you tend to get 2 or 3 coming out as they are interleaved, but this isn't a major gripe as you tend to need the extra to clean up properly!

~ The wipes ~

On opening the lid you are immediately greeted by a lovely fragrance which drowns out any nappy smells. It is quite a floral smell and I do really like it as it smells so clean and fresh.

The wipes themselves have just the right amount of moisture to them. I have bought much cheaper brands in the past which can be too moist and wet.

They are approx 20cm by 15cm and are very strong which is great when you are knee-deep in nappy mess! You really don't want anything that falls apart easily.

As well as using them for cleaning bums, I use them with the 4 year olds for wiping sticky messy hands when I'm out and about with them so they are very handy to have in the car.

The wipes contain baby lotion to help prevent the cause of nappy rash which isn't a pleasant thing for a little one to suffer from! They are also hypoallergenic.

Just one warning on the packet, to avoid contact with the eyes and to rinse with warm water if this occurs.

You would also be well advised to 'Bag it and Bin it, don't Flush it' which is what my brother used to do and ended up with blocked drains!!

These are a very good option to the more expensive branded baby wipes and well worth stocking up on during the BOGOF offers.

Summary: Great value for money cleansing wipes

Not tried the Boots ones yet! Are they all the same moistness? I've often found that the wipes get wetter towards the end of the packet!
