As I am trying many ways to try save the extra pennies at the moment I am using a lower brand in most products and so far quite impressed with what I've been using.

Having twin boys who are just 16months old I go through hell of alot of wetwipes, so I used to buy Johnsons or Pampers when they were on offer buy one get one free in Boots, however they are nearly £2 for just one pack anyway. I spotted Boots own wipes though, at a £1 a pack, sometimes on offer for 3 packs for £2.70 or even buy one get one free too.

They were not easy to miss on the shelves in their bright purple packets and clearly stating that they are the Boots brand on the side in the blue and white Boots logo. The top of the packet is hard plastic, which flips up. When flipped up for the first time, you need to peel off the sticker which is there to maintain freshness I assume, however I find these wipes remain fresh anyway due to the plastic bit shutting back down securely.

It says on the pack they are Baby soft cloth wipes and gently fragranced! I totally agree, they do feel extremely soft, I use them now and then to remove my make up, so if I can use them on my face and they feel as soft as they do then they must be a treat for my boys bums. The fragrance is gentle as it says on the pack, but it's very clean and fresh at the same time.

To be honest I wasn't expecting them to work as well as they do. I have done endless bum changes using these wipes and have had no problems with them. They leave a pleasantly fresh scent on my boys too. They are stronger to the touch than I had imagined them to be, they do feel quite thin, but despite the thin feeling they are quite strong and last a good few wipes.

I am also impressed with the fact they don't cause my boys any pain or discomfort when they do have nappy rash or a rash on their bums from teething. It's only now after actually reading the pack itself I know why they don't. It says on the back 'Each wipe contains baby lotion to help prevent the causes of nappy rash'.

They are gentle and soft enough to use to wipe my boys grubby faces after they have had food or been playing out the garden, although it does say on the pack avoid contact with eyes.

I definitely would reccomend these wipes to anybody whether you have children or not. They can be brilliant at just fresheningg up your face on hot summer days or when you are out and about and just need a quick boost. I use them to wipe my shoes and wipe my make up off. For just £1 a pack containing 72 wipes you really can't go wrong. They are just as good as the top branded wipes, if not even better!

I get through loads of baby wipes in my house and I don't even have kids! Excellent for taking make up off, cleaning up after the dogs, wiping the sofa and so much more! Great review.
