.....Product.....

The product I am reviewing is Boots basics fragranced nappy bags. For anyone who doesn't know, nappy bags are a hygienic way to dispose of nappies. They are usually fragranced with a mild scent, which is mean't to disguise any nasty odours. Any parents will agree with me on the sort of nasty odours that come from nappies.

I purchased this product in a pack of 100 for around 50p, I do believe they can be bought in larger packs too.

So how does this product measure up:

.....Packaging.....

The packaging for this product is very basic, but there again the name being boots basics can probably tell you that anyway. The bags come in a small plastic packet which is coloured white. The front tells you simply what the product is, the amount of bags inside and also that the product is to help you with hygienic disposal. The packaging is very small considering there is 100 bags inside, this is very good so there is no need to use up lots of room in your changing bag etc. One fault I have found is the fact that once you have opened the packet there is nothing to re-seal with, but as of yet none of the bags have escaped so it seems ok.

.....Do they do the job?.....

The bags are very easy to get out of the packet, if you moisten your finger a little usually just the one pops out every time. They open out very easy and without a struggle, this may sound silly but I have had problems with opening out other brands. The product states that it is fragranced, I personally cannot smell any scent to the bags. However once a nappy is inside I believe they do hold in any odours, as any smell immediately dissapears. To me this is more than enough without any fragrance.

.....Price.....

I think this product is very well priced. Even though the price tag is cheap the bags are of a very good quality. I have never had any of the bags tear and they could also double up as bags for clearing up dog mess ( if you have a dog of course). I am sure to others they may come of other use aswell.

.....Overall.....

I would definetly recommend this product to people. As long as the lack of fragrance would not bother you, then these are definetly a bargain worth getting.

Another bonus of course is if you have a Boots advantage card you'll also be gaining some points.

So go grab some nappy bags!
