These Boots cotton buds are 100% pure cotton tips and they have plastics handles in the middle with a cotton bud at each end.

Cotton wool & water is recommend as the best method for cleaning babies and children but is not always the most practical, however, where possible my sister will use these on my niece, Ruby-Lu.

These buds are quite absorbent and will soak up a good few drops of water and they are great for cleaning ears, belly buttons and similar crevasses and I always use them for cleaning up nail polish spills when painting my nails. The buds do not fall apart easily and the plastic middle is nice and strong so there is no worry about them snapping and injuring anybody when being used.

They are quite a reasonable price at £1.08 from Boots for 200 double ended buds. These buds come in a plastic pot which is perfect for storing them and for keeping them fresh and germ free when not being used.

I would definitely recommend these for cosmetic use or for child/adult hygiene as they are very easy to use, sturdy in the middle and the buds are well made with no loose parts to get caught up anywhere. I will be using them again (as I have done for quite a while now) and although they might be a little bit more expensive than some of the other available brands I will definitely stick to what I know & can rely on.

I am rating these 5/5 as they are reliable, in good packaging, do the job well & they are available for a pretty good price.
