Advantages: Help to develop independence in children
Disadvantages: More expensive than ordinary toilet paper
Boots Krazy Kroc Toddler Fragrance Free Wipes are a moist toilet wipe designed for young children to use when they are becoming more independent during toilet training.
As children start to look after themselves in the toilet department, they will need to become proficient in the bottom-wiping department. Those of us who have been doing for several decades may well have forgotten how that learnt this important life skill [I certainly have!!]; but I'm sure we'd all agree that is something that children will have to master.
Both my children have used these products, and they find they easier to use, and more comfortable, than conventional toilet paper. The product is flushable, and so doesn't need to be disposed separately as normal baby wipes do. The child can then learn to develop responsibility for their own toilet routine. There have been comments made that similar products can block toilet systems: I've certainly not come across a problem like that.
They are supplied in packs of 60 wipes and can be bought in one of two presentations: a dispenser pack [usual Boots price - £2.59] and a refill pack [usual price - £1.99]. These compare with the Kandoo brand, were a 55 wipe refill is usually £1.99.
The wipes are also available with a berry fragrance at the same prices.
Summary: Kids seem to like them

- 04/09/08 Sounds like a good product; so many pound shop alternatives are not flushable and this alone gives this product extra versatility. |
