Advantages: No leaks as of yet, comfortable and soft

Disadvantages: None so far

Now I have always been one to use TOP NAME brands in most stuff, so theres no surprise when I say I was a firm believer of only using Pampers nappies. I used them up until my twins were 7months old then I started having problems, they would fall apart constantly whether they had been in them for 1 hour or 3, they would leak, they were doing everything I didn't want in a nappy. So I decided it was time for a change, didn't know what brand to go for, but I also wanted to save myself a little money. I'm a regular customer in Boots so decided I'd give Boots own Nappies a try.

So far very good!!

As they are not a leading brand I was expecting them to feel cheap, fall apart with just one touch I suppose. I quite pleased with what I took out of my first pack of nappies, they didn't feel 'cheap' they were the same shape as a 'normal pampers' nappy, quite flexible to pull and stretch and had the sticky bits to do them up on a baby. I was quite impressed, even though the design is not too pretty, its just a few green leaves around it, but the design was the least of my worries. Now my boys have only just started sleeping through the night and they are now 1, they sleep from 6-7, so I needed a nappy which would last all that time really and Pampers wasnt lasting an hour let alone 12/13 hours.

So my boys first night sleep with a Boots own nappy was a success, no leakage, no falling apart still wearing them comfortably & they have been like this now since the boys were just over 7months old, so 5months altogether. At the moment I swear by them, I swear by them for quality, the no trouble in the nights etc and the price isn't too bad either. Heres a rough guide and comparison to the prices on Boots own to Pampers, (I'll use Pampers as its their nappies I used to use)

Boots Newborn Nappies 24 Pack £2.99 (Usually offers on these size packs are two packs for £4)
Boots Newborn Nappies Size 2 - 45 Pack £4.97
Boots Super Dry Nappies Size 3 - 38 pack £4.97
Boots Super Dry Nappies Size 4 - 34 pack £4.97
Boots Super Dry Nappies Size 4+ 32 Pack £4.97 (Offers are usually two packs for £8)
Boots Super Dry Nappies Size 4+ - 58pack £7.99 (Two for £13 if any offers on these size packs, these are the ones I buy at the moment)

Pampers New Baby Nappies Size 1 27 Pack £3.74 (Usually offers on these size packs are roughly two for £6)
Pampers Baby Dry Nappies Size 2 32 Pack £5.99
Pampers Baby Dry Nappies Size 6 24 Pack £5.99 (Offers are usually two packs for £10)
Pampers Baby Dry Nappies Size 4 58 Pack £8.98 (Two for £16 if any offers on these size packs)

Not much of a difference in price, but every penny counts in my opinion, especially if you are going to be paying less for something of better quality, which in my opinion I am. Obviously not everybody is going to have the same opinion as me but I reccomend them to anybody thats looking to save a little money. A Bonus for me is if I buy Boots own products I receive double points on my Boots Advantage Card, which any parent can get if they join the Boots Parenting Club full of offers and coupons etc.

I reccomend Boots own nappies because of the price, knowing that my twins were just as comfortable in them as they were in Pampers as they are just as soft around their bellys and thighs, that they are just as secure as a Pampers nappy, and that they are better quality especially through the long nights. Although I reccomend these nappies I wouldn't suggest changing what you know best for your own child, but if like me you are having problems finding a nappy that suits your child in all ways then I definitely think you should give these a try. You never know you could be just as impressed as me and I am not easily pleased! (lol)

Summary: A great nappy which holds alot and a half decent price
