Advantages: Non leak, flexible, cheap
Disadvantages: Maybe not a very boyish colour
I have 3 children, so over the last 6 years have been through a very high amount of what we call 'bum covers'.
When my oldest was born, we just automatically decided that we had to use one of the big name brands, and picked Huggies. We carried on using Huggies when our second daughter was born, and up until she was about 15 months old, when I noticed that every time I went to buy nappies the price was increasing rapidly.
Having had enough, I decided to shop around. We found a good brand elsewhere, but by the time our third daughter was born the brand had been discontinued. One day I popped into Boots, and picked up a packet of nappies to try, and havent gone back since.
The Packaging.
The type of Boots nappies we are on at the moment come in a deep purple packaging. They are called Active Fit, and have a picture of a toddler in a nappy on the front. We are currently using size 4+, but they go up to a 5, and start at Newborn, although newborn sizes come in yellow packaging. The sizes and weights are clearly labelled on the front of the packet, along with lots more information on how the nappies work. The nappies are also very compacted into the bag so as to not increase any waste rubbish from them.
The Product
The nappies are white, with a pale lilac trim round the leg and down the 'bum' and there is also a cute little picture along the waistband. They have a stretch fit to make the fit around the legs more comfortable and flexible, and the waistband is also stretchy. The fastens are almost like a velcro type fastening, but once stuck down they hold in place very well. They look good, they are practical, flexible and work well.
Opinions
I think these Boots nappies are better than the top branded rivals by miles. They are a lot more flexible, the evidence is there when my daughter is running and climbing! The fasten doesnt slip, or need re doing, it holds very well. And the best thing is we have never had any leakages! We go from 6.30pm till about 7.30 in the morning with no change and the nappy holds everything in. We never get leaky legs, or anything escaping out the back!!
I highly recomend Boots nappies, we will continue using them right through to pull ups are done with. And at £4.99 for a bag of 25 nappies, you cant complain!
Summary: Best nappies on the market
