Advantages: cheap, as absorbant as huggies and pampers

Disadvantages: slip down randomly, even when completly empty

When we were camping a few weeks back, we ran out of nappies for our little lad and, as we were in town anyway, we thought that we would give Boots own nappies a try. The nappies that we got were the 'super dry' ones which come in a green bag very much like any other bag containing nappies.
The cost of a 'carry pack', which contains 30 nappies is £3.99, an economy pack contains 50 nappies and costs £6.99 on the Boots website, meaning that they are cheaper than premium brands. The size 5 nappies that my son wears are for toddlers between 11 and 25 kg (24-55 lbs). The sizing of the nappies is like any other brand of nappies, so it wont be too hard to find the correspoding nappies if you decide to give them a go.
The nappies that are in the pack in are a lot plainer looking than Huggies or Pampers, but to me that doesnt really matter-as long as it does a good job then I am fine with plain. On my son, the nappies seemed to fit him as well as the premium brands mentioned, which I was impressed with. Another thing that I was, and still am, impressed with is how absorbant they are. They can hold just as much, if not more, than the nappies we have used in the past without leaking which is a really good thing in a toddler.
Even though there aresome very good plus points to these nappies, there are a couple of reasons why I wont get these nappies again unless I am desperate. The major one for me is the fact that the nappies randomly slip down. This happens just as much when the nappy is clean on and free from any bodily functions. I always make sure that my sons nappies are fitted correctly when newly put on. Last weekend, after swimming, we were walking out of the leisure centre and the nappy started falling down for no reason, which isnt good!
The second thing I find an inconvinience is the fact that you can only get these from a Boots store or from their website. As we live closer to Tesco than to Boots, I wont bother going to Boots and as the nappies seem to have a mind of their own, then I wont be getting them from the Boots website either!
Overall, in my experience, I would not recommend these nappies as they seem to randomly fall down for no reason. They are as absorbant and fit as well as more expensive brands, but that does not make up for the fact that they make my son a flasher!

Summary: My son became a flasher!
