Advantages: cheap, keep my daughter dry, fit well

Disadvantages: none

I have been using Huggies Pullups for my daughter for the night time as she is now clean during the day. I am always on the lookout for something a bit cheaper but good quality.

I tried the Tesco spot the dog training pants and found them to be useless and too small. So went back to Huggies. I decided to try the Boots trainers as I had used their nappies before and found them to be very good. I got them for £3.99 and they are just as good as the Huggies ones which are £4.95.

Alright I know that there will be alot of you out there that will say that there is not that much difference in price. But there is when you are paying out constantly for those and many other things that your child needs. The shopping soon adds up. And whats more the good thing is that Boots Advantage card system is very good you get 4 points for every pound spent and can save them up for as long as you like. So all those nappies you are buying could eventually help you treat yourself. Not bad.

These pullups are good for night times as well as the day. My daughter has the habit of peeing alot during the night as she likes to have about two cups of milk before bedtime. I don't mind this as she sleeps all night and milk is good for her. I will however, have to cut down on this as she gets to the age for no nappies at night time. She is just two at the moment.

I have been using them for a couple of weeks now and have not had any leakages with them as I did with the Tesco pullups. I didn't want to put my daughter in nappies of a night time as she is aware that they are different. She wears normal knickers during the day and is discusted if I have tried to use up the last few nappies I have by putting them on her at night. She has a potty in her room and by having the pullups on she can get up in the morning and sit on the potty. So Mummy doesn't have to run into her room like a bullet to make sure she makes it in time. (Number two's
always happen first thing. I don't want to have that in her pants if I can help it)

I will continue to use these as they are just as good as the others and not as costly.

My friend has just started to train her little boy who is just two months older than Chloe. He is making progress all of a sudden. She just left his clothes off and put up with the out of control hose for a few days until he got the idea it was better to aim for the potty!

I bought a potty about 6 months ago and thought I would give it a go when the summer came. Well, the 'summer' has arrived-ish, and when I showed him it, he just said "hat" and put it on his head! (luckily it was empty)...so its back in the cupboard!! I will try again maybe this weekend. Grrr.

Deanne, I was as surprised as you. My son was clean and dry at just under two and a half years when I had my daughter but not as good first thing in the morning. Pullups were saturated. She has been using a potty since just after Christmas. Mainly because she saw a friends little one go on the potty. After that she more or less taught herself. Would be nice if they were all like that. Glad your 7 month old is using a potty at such a young age jessyclown, at least she isn't frightened of it. Some including my son wouldn't go near it at first.
