Advantages: Wear well, Fit well

Disadvantages: Expensive in the UK

Both of my children use cotton nappies. We have a nappy service. But the majority of the covers we use my mother bought in Canada and sent to us. One because they are cheaper, and two because they were easy to find and with lots of choice. Of all the nappy wraps we were sent Bummis rate the best for me. They fit so well, from newborn to Toddler. They are soft, wash well (over and over again - some of them have been through two kids and have been passed on to other families), and tend to stay in place! They are sewn well and actually for a cloth nappy somehow give a nice shape to the infants backside - if you know what I mean. The original Bummis or cotton covered original style are best, but I believe they have more fancy models now, which I'm sure must be worth trying.

While I'm a great advocate of cotton nappies and all the good reasons to use them, I do still put disposables on my kids at night. I have yet to come across a totally leak proof nappy wrap.

We are on to the training pants stage with my son, so I'd like read about good training pants people have tried, tested and recommend. Accessibility seems to be key combined with comfort and security.

Bum tee dee um bum
