The key thing with a changing bag is that its got to be easy enough to carry around for as much of the time as possible. If you have a great big holdall complete with a kitchen sink a lucky gonk, a packet of polos and a spare lucky gonk, then you are less likely to carry it around on the off chance that you will need it.

We use a medium sized bum bag. Its big enough to fit 4 or 5 nappies, a little changing mat, some wipes and a carrier bag for the dirty stuff.

The great thing about it is that you can use the strap to hang it from a buggy, fix it around your waist or over a shoulder. You can also use it as an extra seat belt for a high chair if you eat out somewhere. Ours is made my Wynster, but you can find a fair number at any decent camping and outdoor shop.

Note, people won't stop and point at you in the street if your changing bag doesn't match your buggy!
