I don't normally shop at Lidl, but when somebody told me about the price of these nappies I felt I had to give them a try, and now I wouldn't buy anything else. These nappies are such good value for money, and unlike others at the cheaper end of the market they actually work. Even better, since using them my daughter hasn't suffered from nappy rash once (which she was often getting with Pampers). They come in a range of sizes from newborn to toddler, and the pack sizes are much larger than other brands (about double, so the price is £7.65 for 84 nappies). They have velcro fasteners, and are nice and thin so they don't show through ... Read the complete review

I am a regular shopper to Lidl's and was recommended the Cien disposable nappies by a friend who swears by them. I have tried many brands and had found that Huggies were brilliant, but I decided to buy a pack as they were cheaper. I used them for a couple of days and my little boys bum was terrible, and he seemed to really sweat in them as the outside of the nappy has a thin plastic cover, which didn't seem to let his skin breathe like the other nappies I use. I still have 60 nappies left and don't know what to do with them, maybe I'll give them to a charity shop. It is a shame I can't use them as the price is good and the design ... After trying a variety of different branded nappies when my first daughter was born I had settled on Pampers as they seemed to be the best for fitting, absorbing wetness and seemed to leak less than the rest. Pamper are very expensive though, and when a friend recommended Cien nappies from Lidl I was more than happy to give them a try. I was immediately impressed when I saw the price for around £5.50 i was able to get 50 nappies of the size i needed which is amazing value for money and far cheaper than other nappies I had tried. This made me a little dubious abount the quality, however I really needn't have worried. The Cien nappies prooved to be a ... Read the complete review

When I gave birth to my third child I was determined to use terry nappies as I had with the others, but I did use dissposable nappies for long trips and holidays. I found that they really irritated her skin, (she has very sensitive skin and is easily irritated). I thought they were very overpriced, and not worth the expense. Then when she was 18 months, I had occasion to buy them again for a trip. I went into Lidls and bought a packet of 70 maxi size Cien brand nappies. They were great, they caused no irritation at all, and I found them to be very absorbent so she was comfortable as well. They were fantastic value at less than £8 for 70. They have ... While choosing which baby product should I choose to write review on; the first thing that came into my mind was baby care product, Diapers. Well sorry but that's what goes on in the heads of most of us Mums. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE Well of course I would have a lot to say about nappies. That's what my world revolves around; whoever invented them was pure genius. Well for your information I must add that Nappies were actually invented by a young mother living in the post- war era, her name was Marion Donovan. She came from a family of inventors and invented the 'Boater' which is actually a plastic covering for cloth diapers. She made her first Boater ... Read the complete review
