Advantages: Cheap as chips!!

Disadvantages: Only available in Lidl

After trying a variety of different branded nappies when my first daughter was born I had settled on Pampers as they seemed to be the best for fitting, absorbing wetness and seemed to leak less than the rest. Pamper are very expensive though, and when a friend recommended Cien nappies from Lidl I was more than happy to give them a try.

I was immediately impressed when I saw the price for around £5.50 i was able to get 50 nappies of the size i needed which is amazing value for money and far cheaper than other nappies I had tried. This made me a little dubious abount the quality, however I really needn't have worried. The Cien nappies prooved to be a fantastic alternative to the more expensive Pampers. They fitted really well, are really soft to the skin and I had no problems with leakage, I was immediately converted to these nappies and haven't looked back since.

My only critisism is that they are a little bulkier than the premium brand nappies which i only really found to be a problem when i was packing them to go out for a day but that certainly doesn't take anything away from these superb and fantastic value nappies. I feel really lucky to have discovered them and want to spread the word to others spending a fortune on the more expensive brands.

Summary: Worth giving a go...you will be converted
