Being a first time mum I am still on a massive learning curve, I recently noticed that my baby girl had a dry scaly looking head (not all over, just on the front & back) so I asked my sister in law about it, she told me it was Cradle Cap and that it was very normal all I needed was a shampoo to get rid of it.

(Cradle cap is a form of dermatitis, which can cause a dry, flaky, itchy scalp. The condition is not serious but it is unsightly, appearing as scaly patches.)

Off I popped to my local Tesco to see is they had a shampoo that I could use to get rid of this, after a bit of searching in the baby section I found a shampoo called Dentinox which is especially for Cradle Cap, it only cost £1.93 so I thought may as well give it a go.

First thing I did when I got home was read the instructions, they tell you all about Cradle Cap and how easy it is to treat. The shampoo is very straight forward to use all you need to do is wet the baby's head with warm water, put about 2-3ml (about half a teaspoon) onto your palm and massage it gently but firmly over the baby's entire scalp, you the rinse it off & then shampoo again, you can repeat this every bath time as it is gentle enough for regular use. You have to make sure that it does not goe into you baby's eyes or mouth though.

I notice a drastic improvement after the first use of this shampoo, it didn't clear it up straight away but it made it look 90% better, I now use this shampoo every other day and every time I use it you can see that it has cleared it up a little bit more. Cradle Cap can last up to one year old but I have herd of two & three year olds still having it, I'm hoping that with regular use of this shampoo it will clear up quite quickly.

Summary: Very good shampoo that showed improvement from the first use
