This is a review of Cussons Mum & Me Ultra Mild Baby Lotion which I bought having loved their baby bath product. The whole range was reduced at the time in Boots so I bought a bottle to try with our toddler as I am not yet using any products on our new born baby. Packaging The bottle is sized 300ml and is white plastic with purple accent colours. The lid is a pump which you unlock to start the product and it is a long pump so you can get a lot out at a time if you wish (or just do half a pump for a bit). In use I use this for moisturising our little girl's arms and legs (she loves our pampering sessions!) and also to help with messy nappy changes to help shift any mess from her bottom and clean the skin gently. I have also used the lotion on myself (I always do this first anyway) to try it out. The lotion is white in colour but a similar consistency to the branded baby lotions. The difference though is in the fragrance of the product. I am reminded of confectionary products with this lotion yet I can't say exactly what but it is a very sweet smell. The ingredients include jojoba oil so perhaps this contributes to the fragrance. My thoughts I think this is a very gentle lotion and it has not caused any damage or reaction to our skin whilst using it. I love the packaging which is easy to grip due to the curvy bottle and the pump top dispenser makes it a lot more hygienic to use (although it prohibits transport really). The purple and white colours are eye catching and really stand out on the shelf. The lotion is very moisturising and sinks in to the skin quickly leaving skin supple and soft. Price I got my bottle a bit cheaper than this but at the moment it retails for £2.05 in Boots. I have seen it sold in a lot of shops including all the major supermarket chains. Final word So far I have been really impressed with the Cussons Mum & Me range and I have liked the products I have tried. I do think it is ultra mild as stated and pleasant to use. It is definitely a product I will buy again in the future.
