Advantages: Does the job

Disadvantages: The smell

I wrote a review of this yesterday and was jut writing the last line when my son accidently knocked a button and I lost it all so here I go again!

When Noah was born he developed cradle cap. It wasn't really bad but I wanted to try and get it sorted before it got any worse. I went to my locl Tesco and found this shampoo on the shelf. It cost me around £1.99 so it wasn't too expensive.

The shampoo is kind enough to use on your babies skin and can be used as a normal shampoo even when the cradle cap has cleared up. I was really pleased about this because there is nothing worse than paying for something and then only using a quarter of the bottle.

It recommended on the bottle to use a pennies worth of shampoo and massage it into your babies head. I think you can get away with a little less than this because I found that this caused alot of foam and bubbles. Te shampoo is quite thin in consistency although it's not so thin that it falls off your hand and you loose it in the bath water.

I used this for a few weeks on Noah's head and at the time I wasn't sure that it was doing anything so I stopped. I noticed recently that his cradle cap has got a bit thicker so I decided to start using it again. His hair is a lot thicker and longer now as we haven't cut it since he was born and he's just turned two. The penny sized amount is definately still more than enough and it massages in really well and rinses out quickly too.

I'm not so keen on the smell of this shampoo and you can definately tell that it's a treatment shampoo. It smells a bit like the dentist surgery which isn't so bad but I prefer things like peaches and cream and strawberries and avocado.

So the all important question is 'Does it work?'
Since using on Noah the second time around I have definately noticed a big difference in a matter of weeks. The cradle cap has thinned out and is falling away from his scalp. It's nearly all disappeared and I'm surprised at how quickly it has happened. I was expecting to get no results again but I'm pleasantly surprised. I have noticed that Elijah has a little developing so I have started using it on his head to prevent it from getting any worse and hoefully it will clear it up like it has with Noah's.

Summary: Does what it says.

When Jack was first born he developed cradle cap. I started to use this and it soon cleared up. He never got it again! I'll certainly use this stuff if baby number 2 starts with it.
