Advantages: No shampoo needed, Helps with Cradle cap

Disadvantages: none

My daughter was born with a head full of jet black hair she couldn't have looked more like her farther if she had tried.

After a few weeks I noticed that she seemed to be loosing some of her hair and yellow patches had appeared on her scalp. My son had never suffered with cradle cap so this was the first time I had seen this. It was flaky in parts and seemed glued to her head. I got told off so many times for trying to pick the skin off her scalp and was advised there was shampoos that I could buy that would help eliminate it.

I poped into boots to see what products they had on offer. There were about 3 different shampoos that could be used for cradle cap and was a bit confused on which one to get so I asked the woman behind the counter. She advised me that this one was the best and was very popular.

When I was bathing my daughter I used it. At first i thought that this would work straight away and couldn't understand that it hadn't done anything at all to remove it.

I then read the back of the bottle that explained to give the scalp 2 washes and rub well and that it would take a few days to see an improvement. You didn't have to use any other shampoo because this product would also was your babies hair without causing any dryness or greasyness.

After a few days I did see a major improvement the patches seemed to get smaller and when I run a comb through her hair bits of the cradle cap were coming away due to the shampoo softening it.

This cost me £2 for the bottle and it isn't a big bottle either so I will last around 2 to 3 weeks if you are bathing them almost every night and washing their hair twice. I still have to use this with my daughter because as soon as I stop some cradle cap seems to re-appear but I would advise this to anyone who has a child that suffers from cradle cap because it works, it may not seem like it at first but give it chance to do its job and you will be pleasantly impressed.

Summary: Eliminates cradle cap
