Having being used to Dentinox more for teething gel than shampoos I was surprised to be recommended this at my local Boots when my son had cradle cap. It was coming up for his christening and he had a really bad case erupt. I had been aware of this condition before as my daughter had suffered from it but as there are 13 years between ... Both of my daughters have suffered with cradle cap - my eldest between the age of 2 and 3 and my youngest from birth. On each occasion my health visitor said that cradle cap treatments are too harsh on the baby's delicate scalp and suggested using olive oil instead. The idea is to warm up some olive oil, apply to the ... Read the complete review

My daughter suffered terribly with cradle cap from birth. I tried remedies such as rubbing baby oil into the scalp, but she reacted to the perfume and it made the matter worse. I then tried the same method, but with olive oil instead. This also failed to ease the situation, which by now was pretty grotesque. I felt, after 3 ... Read the complete review

My 2nd baby is now 6 months old and has cradle cap since his dry skin cleared up after birth. I went to my local chemist and asked what I could use for the cradle cap and the only thing that was mentioned was this Dentinox Shampoo. Well I have been using this now for 3 months and at first it seemed to be working but as I was bathing him ... Read the complete review

Cradle cap is very unsightly I grant you that, but it is not dangerous so why use potentially dangerous products on it...? Make your approach in a softly, softly kind of way and GENTLY rub in some almond oil, its natural and cheap. CAUTION. IF your child is allergic to nuts do not use it, use clean vegetable or sunflower oil ... Read the complete review

My daughter developed craddle cap and I must admit that she had more scales on her head than a snake. I bought a bottle of Dentinox craddle cap shampoo and it did start to remove some of the craddle cap so I thought that I would stick with it. The bottle finally came to an end but unfortuantly, the craddle cap didnt. My daughter is now ... Read the complete review

From the first time my son had cradle cap, I bought Dentinox. It's not a particularly pleasant shampoo, in consistency or smell, but it does cure cradle cap. Although he's now over two years old, he still gets this irritation.. mainly due to an excema link, but there is a huge difference in his scalp when I start using ... Read the complete review

I have tried many different oils and creams and shampoos to combat my son's cradlecap. Then my health visitop reccomended this shampoo. So i went and bought it, skeptical at first if it would work as i had tried so many. I found out after a few washes it started to remove the horrible scales from his scalp. It has almost ... When my daughter developed a mild case of cradle cap I bought some of this Dentinox Cradle Cap Shampoo. I used it every hair wash and as I didn't like the smell I used the Johnson's shampoo afterwards. It did stop the cradle cap getting any worse but didn't actually get rid of it altogether. My HV told me to put some baby ... Read the complete review

I bought this shampoo when my first son had really bad cradle cap. I followed all the instructions but it just didnt seem to work, infact it made no difference at all. In the end I ended up just putting olive oil on his head, applied it with a piece of cotton wool and left it for a while, then sponged it off and tried to comb his hair ...
