Advantages: Easy to clean, Great storage

Disadvantages: Absolutely none!

I searched and searched for a dresser to suit all my needs. When I became pregnant I completely paniced. Where would everything go? How would I store things? More importantly how would I bath my baby?

I searched and searched the web to find something that would suit my needs. Small-ish and compact, looks nice, not too expensive, and something to bathe baby in. Seems impossible doesn't it!! After some research however I came across this.

I had seen many dressers and many baby baths. I had considered buying both but space was an issue as we live in a studio flat. I also considered buying a baby bath that looked like a bucket to save space but I think they look cruel so decided against this.

This dresser made by East Coast is the perfect thing for any family not just the space saving type. It comes complete with...yes you guessed it, a bath!! It has three shelves. Obviously the top one is where the changing mat goes and if you take away the boarding (very easily to lift off) Underneath this is a baby bath...or at least a space for one. You have to buy the bath seperately unfortunately and only 1 specific bath fits it so I would suggest buying this at the same time. The plastic bath itself retails at about £10.00.

Underneath the bath compartment are two more shelves where you can store all your baby's goodies including nappies, creams.....you know, the essentials. There is loads of space and I have actually had trouble filling it up without it looking to sparse. It is about 80 cm wide and nearly a meter tall meaning it is suitable for almost any height. Providing your not 7ft of course.

It has a towel rail on one side which is very handy not just for babys towel but for your own.

The bath which can be brought seperately is very easy to clean and is 'baby size'. It is slanted downwards at one end making it very easy to bathe baby safely. It has a pipe drainage system which can be simply hooked onto a bucket or the toilet if it is near enough and emptied.

This changing table can be brought at about £70.00 plus the bath as previously stated which is about £10.00. Unfortunately I have never seen this in any high street store and as far as I know is only avaliable on the internet.

I do think this bath is well worth it, it is very multi- funtional and unique and exactly what any mother or father needs to bath baby and save space. I feel this bath is particulaly good for safety as it is baby size. It is easy to lift baby in and out of and I have always enjoyed bathing my baby in it with no trouble at all. I hope you feel the same about it when you try it.

Summary: Would not be without it!!

I had something similar - really saves on backache from kneeling over the big bath when they are tiny.
