Disadvantages: Everything.

I'm a great fan of bathtime so i'm always looking out for something different for my daughter to play with. She has a bath every night as part of her bedtime routine and to clean her up after messy supper time. (You know what it's like when all they'll have is finger food and they come out of the highchair in various colours)

~~~The Product~~~
This is a waterslide that attaches to your bath using sucker pads. It also comes with two little circular friends that slide down the shoot when you pour water into it and splash into the bath.
It's made of plastic and comes in the box as several pieces so it does require some assembly. Our one is blue and yellow but you can get them in a variety of colours, depending on where you make your purchase.
This is a fabulous idea for a bath toy and i haven't seen anything similar about.
~~~The good bits~~~

I can't really say anything good about it and believe me i've really tried. My daughter does love the little circular penguins (i'm sure that's what they're meant to be) but that's about it. Another good bit could be that it is brightly coloured, but then most toys for babies are.

~~~The bad bits~~~
I honestly don't know where to start. The idea of this toy is fantastic and i've yet to see anything similar hit the shops. There is probably a good reason for this though as it's very poorly designed!
The assembly was quite fiddly and i always find that the longer a toy takes to assemble, the less fun someone will have with it. To me, this wasn't a good start.
We got it into the bath and were quite surprised to find that it didn't stick onto the wall tiles or bath very well. I really was quite shocked as this is supposed to be a baby toy and therefore it should stick to the wall.
The idea of the circular pieces moving down the slide is good, but in reality they stop half way down - that's if they move at all. You have to pour water into the top in order to push these little pieces along and watch the waterwheel turn - neither one happens.
It also falls apart at the smallest touch and i've given up with reassembling it.
~~~Price~~~

We bought ours in ELC for £12.50 and i can't believe i was stupid enough to pay that for it. It doesn't work how it's supposed to, in fact, it doesn't do anything! I wouldn't even buy it at a car boot sale for 1p.

~~~Verdict~~~
If you haven't guessed already, i wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. It's not worth 1p, let alone the prices shops are charging for it. Spend your money elsewhere. It gets one star because it's impossible to give any less.
Summary: Give it a miss, it will only fall apart and provide lots of disappointment.
Our two had a different model around six years ago but had similar problems even then. Best to avoid I agree.
