Floaties Aqua Nappy

Description: Brand: Floaties / Type: Nappies

I think we paid between £3 and £4 each for ours including delivery (from ebay), and I daresay they will last her another year before we have to buy the next size up (if we need to, she may be fully trustworthy in the pool by then...). (We also bought a Floaties Swimseat for her which was absolutely brilliant, but I can't find it on here to write a review about it!!)...more

Premium Review Floaties Aqua Nappy: No Accidents! (415 words)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Floaties ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Floaties do a whole range of swimming gear for babies and kids including bouyancy aids and nappies and swimming aids. They do great rings, seats and armbands which all help to keep your little one afloat and they also do fantastic little swimming jackets which actually look like life jackets, they are filled with a hard foam which when worn, keeps the youngsters floating also. My favourite of the floaties range is their Aqua Nappies. I bought these as I felt that Little Swimmers were just not satisfactory and I needed something which was more reliable and lasted longer, therefore costing ...  Read the complete review
Premium Review No Floaters in the Pool! (647 words)
If you have a baby or toddler, you probably are aware that a normal disposable nappy simply will not work in a pool full of water, and a normal cloth nappy will also be far to bulky (plus the cholrine will dama the wraps and whatnot). I had bought Little Swimmers before, but deciding to go to the pool with my little ones on a regular basis, I quickly realised they would be very exspensive. So, I rang the pool to enquire about what sort of nappies they would accept or could reccommend. Either disposable swim nappies or reusable ones specifically for swimming were fine. Therefore, I scoured the web looking for some cheaper than what the pool was offering to sell me for an ...  Read the complete review
Premium Review Floaties Aqua Nappy: Floaties the best aqua nappy (344 words)
I brought these when I realised that Huggies Little swimmers didn’t come in small enough sizes for my baby. You can buy them either as trunks or as a bikini for little girls. They are fairly soft on the outside with somekind of gauze lining. The legs and waist are fully elasticated and have a waist tie to adjust the fit. I find they have always fit my baby very well and I have not yet had any embrassing leaks. They also seem to fit well as your baby grows. My baby is almost out of her first pair and they still fit as well now as they ever did. Not only that they still look and feel the same as when I first brought them, but I am quite careful about ...  Read the complete review
Premium Review Good poo catchers (274 words)
We bought two of these for our daughter before we went on holiday and they are great. You can get them in a range of sizes, and they also come in girl or boy colours (obviously we got the pink ones for our girl). They they are fastened around the waist with velcro and also have a drawstring for extra security - no-one wants to see a floater in the pool do they?! They are not designed to contain wee, just poo. They are very lightweight and allow for easy movement of your baby or child, our daughter didn't think twice about wearing them, which was a relief for me! They are also very reliable as my daughter did actually have a 'movement' ...  Read the complete review
Premium Review Floaties Aqua Nappy: A great buy. (134 words)
by - written on 15/08/00 (Very useful, 203 readings)
I bought one of these Floatie Aqua Nappies after a bad experience with Huggies Little Swimmers (see my review). This swim nappy cost the same as the Huggies ones and will last longer. It is machine washable and although it tells you not to tumble dry it, I did on a low heat and it came out fine and with no creases! It is very easy to put on and holds everything in without getting bulky or heavy. You can use them on their own or under a swimsuit. It also has a drawstring waist for extra security. They come in lovely bright colours, Lauren's are shocking pink, and the bag they come in is reusable to put them in when they are wet. I would definately recommend ...  Read the complete review
