Advantages: Nice chair, popular with kids, looks nice and worked well for us

Disadvantages: to big to travel about with you and mine was expensive

We had this chair when I trained my daughter to go on the potty when she was 2 years old. She liked everything about being a big girl, big girl pants, the praise but she did not like the plain potty we had and she was scared of the big loud toilet. So I took her shopping so she could choose what she wanted to use and in Mother care she choose a potty that was more like a deluxe chair! The chair was priced at £14.99, which was a lot of money compared to the other potties on offer. We spent so long in the shop while she choose a potty that the lady at the till let her choose a pack of pants to go with her new potty which was really sweet.

The potty chair was white with a picture of ducks on it. There was a yellow (of all colours!) piece that could be removed once the child has gone to the toilet to dispose of the result!

The chair was very light and she was able to move it around the house so she could do her wee wee wherever she wanted. The chair was very popular and toilet training continues to go very well. We had a cheap small potty in the boot for when we were out and about, as this potty was too big to take everywhere and my daughter had no problem using other potties when she needed to.

The potty was a little too comfortable for her as she did not want to progress onto the big toilet. The potty was easy to empty and clean as the yellow part lifted out and could be emptied into the wee or poo. The only problem I had was it was quite difficult to pop the yellow part out, as there was not anywhere clean to hold it was easier to push it up from the bottom, which was difficult if it was full!

Overall, I found this potty a nice item for my daughter. It worked well as a proper potty in the bathroom but it was not very good for travelling, as it was too big. The potty was easy to clean and comfortable for my daughter. It was a bit on the expensive side but we got a lot of use out of it and it kept my daughter happy. There was not much choice when I bought my daughters but there are now a lot of different designs and styles they also seem to be cheaper now.

Summary: A lovely comfortable potty chair
