This is another BOGOF (buy one get one free) from Safeway. I got two packs of Huggies Cotton-Touch wipes for £2.99. I also noticed today that Lloyds Chemist have the same offer.

I don’t buy nappies any more because my youngest is 3 and has not worn nappies for some time now. She is still messy so I find baby wipes very useful. I usually buy Johnson’s wipes as I have always found them the best, that was until I tried Huggies.

Huggies Cotton-Touch wipes are available in packs of 64, with fragrance or fragrance free. They are in a plastic bag that is packaged similar to the Huggies nappies in green and blue, with the Huggies logo across the middle. Along the top is a plastic zip opening and when you open the wipes for the first time there is a seal on the inside of the bag. The zip moves easily to open the bag and I found the seal very easy to break by just pulling it gently.

Once inside the wipes are easy to pull out one handed and only one pops up each time, so you don’t get more than you need and end up trying to stuff them back in. Each wipe is really thick and soft and to make them even more appealing they have teddy bears on them. I bought the fragranced pack, which smell quite pleasant without being over powering. They smell clean and fresh. The wipes are moist, but not too wet.

Even though I don’t use the wipes for changing nappies I have found that they are ideal for cleaning mucky faces. They clean up sticky, chocolate hands and faces easily and one wipe is always sufficient.

The packaging states they are: -
 Dermatologically tested
 pH balanced
 Alcohol free

I would recommend Huggies Cotton-Touch wipes, as they are so easy to use, the zip is an ideal way of resealing the bag to ensure that the wipes stay moist and fresh.

I have started using these in preference to Johnsons baby cloth wipes. The thickness makes things rather less messy. I have a problem with the pop-up system though, I always seem to get 3 at a time. Still, my daughter's botty normally warrants 3, so it doesn't matter!

I am soooo glad mine are way way out of the need for these now...or am I! That rather depends on what is the worst bit, toddlers or teens! Many thanks for the comment you left on my last op, I hope your little girl is feeling better now and not too itchy?
