I have taken my girls swimming every week since they were tiny, I think I started with both of them when thet were about 3 months old. It's a really lovely thing to do with them and has resulted in them both absolutely loving being in the water. It also really wears them out and ensures a good nights sleep, which is always a ...  Read the complete review

I bought these when went away as I had forgotton my baby's swimming shorts! I think I had them from Tesco and paid arond £4 - £5 for a pack of 10-12 nappies. The ones I bought had a lovely Finding Nemo design on them and I'm sure there was a different design for girls. When we went in the pool they worked brilliantly, there ...  Read the complete review

My experience with these nappies was earlier this year when my little boy was 6 months old. I like many others, wasn't sure on what to use in the water. After a little research I found that a lot of women used huggies swimmers and upon recommendation I bought two packets. They were a little difficult to find at first but after seeing ...  Read the complete review

I started my baby off with swimming lessons when he was just 12 weeks old. I was a water baby myself and was a pretty competent swimmer even at the age of 4, but I do have a vivid memory from that early age, of seeing something floating in the gutter of the training pool at out local baths, and despite the temperature being warmer, deciding that ...  Read the complete review

Both me and my partner like swimming but hadn't been for years. When Scarlet was born thought we thought we would have to go again. Unfortunately though I am unable to go at the moment as I am currently awaiting Skin Grafts and unable to get Chlorine on my skin. That was not going to stop my little princess going. As I have two nephews ...  Read the complete review

Clever invention these: a cross between a nappy and a baby's swimming trunks. Ever wanted to take a non potty trained baby in the pool, but been afraid they make leak some maltesers into oncoming swimmer's mouths? Well here's the answers. The good bit is that they work. They don't look much different to normal nappies, but they are ...  Read the complete review

I was really worried at the thought of taking my daughter swimming, and thought i'd have to wait until she'd just emptied her bowels, incase of any accedents. Then when i was in mothercare i spotted these. Obviously i bought them, but was still a bit warey of them as i'd never heard of a waterproof nappy! Plus the last time i'd used any huggies ...  Read the complete review

I started baby swimming a few months back, and began with a washable swim nappy from Mothercare. When he outgrew this I tried Huggies Little swimmers instead as I had a half price coupon. As I am sure you already know normal disposable nappies will become waterlogged and can cause a hygiene hazard. These special swim pants are designed ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Huggies Little Swimmers
by - written on 19/05/09

When i first took my little girl swimming at 12 weeks old i used a material swim pant. This was firstly because she was so small and also beacuse they were washable and reuseable. I didnt see the point of paying out every time we went swimming when if an accident happened it was tipped into a nappy sack then the pants could go in the washing machine. As she got to about 6 months the pants no longer fitted and i was unable to get a bigger size so i moved onto the swim nappies. They fitted well and did the job. I would definetley buy them again.

We started taking my daughter swimming at 10 weeks. We wanted to make sure there were no accidents in the pool so looked into Little Swimmers for under her swimming costume (which had a built in swim nappy). I wasn't sure at first as at the time the smallest size was nowhere near my little 9lb skinny girl, but was assured by friends that it was ok ...  Read the complete review

I have been determined to introduce my toddler to the swimming pool from when she was a young age. As a result of this we have been going swimming on an almost weekly basis to get her confident in the water, and hopefully swimming at a fairly young age as well. Besides all the swimming gear and floatation devices we have come across on our ...  Read the complete review

What are Huggies Little Swimmers? Huggies Little Swimmers are disposable swim pants that are designed for babies and toddlers to wear when they are swimming or in the water. And what is the point of them? Can't they just go nude or wear a regular nappy? As we all know children that aren't potty trained will poo and wee ...  Read the complete review

I first bought huggies little swimmers to take my son swimming as I had Boots which fitted from 7 - 13 lbs. These worked in exacktly the same way as a nappy with sticky fastenings to the sides only they are waterproof. They have a cute winnie the pooh design too. These were great for swimming and I had no problem with them whatsoever. ...  Read the complete review

When Noah was born I started taking him swimming as soon as he had, had all of his jabs. When I was little I didn't go swimming very often and as a result of that I am quite nervous in the water so I want him to be different. As a swimming teacher i took my son and daughter for their first swim at 2 weeks old each. My youngest son was a little bit older but still young. These swimming nappies do not come in small enough sizes for me so i used the smallest ones available and they fitted fine, albeit a little long in the body. These nappies are brilliant. I have used these since my baby was under a month old when we went swimming for the first time. They cost £4.49 from Boots, although Mothercare and all the supermarkets sell them too. They come with brightly coloured pictures of Disney characters on them. The small ones we use have pictures of Nemo on, for example. The nappies ...  Read the complete review

I decided to start my son off early with swimming as we had a holiday booked for when he was 5 months old during the month of August.
