Advantages: Slightly cheaper than other brands

Disadvantages: Not very leak proof & made babys bottom very red

Being a new mum I have tried various different brands of nappies & I have to say I think Huggies newborn are the worst I have used.

Unlike Pampers newborn I found Huggies very difficult to put on my baby, the back of them never seemed to lie flat so I could never get them in the right position I also found that Huggies gave my baby a very red bottom which looked very sore.

These nappies where not very leak proof either, I was forever having to change my baby due to either wee or poo going all up her back or out along her legs.

I only used two packs of these nappies (and that was because we didn't buy them) and I will def not be using them again, I don't even think ill be trying any of the bigger size as I don't want to be wasting money when I know other brands are far better.

These nappies cost around £4 for 27 but are often on special offer in Tesco (buy 2 for £6) which makes them a little cheaper than Pampers but I think it's worth paying the little extra to know my baby will stay dry & happy.

I'm sure other people will find these nappies fit fine, they just did not work for me at all.

Summary: I didnt like these nappies one little bit

I used these when my son started crawling as I found them more stretchy than Pampers but when he was tiny I used Pampers as these leaked x

I think it varies according to the baby - these fitted my son where Pampers didn't. I would say though, as your child grows, don't dismiss makes that you have previously thought unsuitable. Despite hating Pampers we did go through a period where they were the best fit and then something else took over again.
