Advantages: Better for wet nappies

Disadvantages: Not so good for dirty nappies

I first bought Huggies Newborn nappies when my baby boy was about two weeks old, before that I had used Pampers and Tesco own brand nappies. I always found Pampers nappies to be very good, however, decided to try Huggies as they were on offer at Tesco.

The newborn nappies fit babies up to eleven pound and you get 32 nappies in a pack. I found that the Newborn nappies seem to be a lot better than Pampers if you baby has a lot of wet nappies. However, as many new mothers will know, most of the nappies that you change at first are dirty ones and the Huggies nappies are not as good if your baby produces a lot of dirty nappies. I found that often the poo would come out through the sides at the bottom and a few times it went right up his back and I ended up having to cut some of his clothes off him.

The nappies however, come in a pretty design with Disney characters on each of them. They do have an elasticated waist so they seem to be comfortable on babies, however, as the poo has leaked out of some of these nappies, it has led to me having to throw out some of my babies clothes as they have been left stained.

Summary: would probably recommend
