Huggies Newborn Nappies
Firstly, I am quite surprised at the other reviews on this particular product a lot of them are only one or two stars. Personally I am glad I did not read these reviews before trying them for myself, with everything people have different views and I totally respect that but my experience of these nappies have been first class.
My son was born on 21/10/2012 and he has been in a mixture of Pampers and Huggies wipes, my preferred brand is Huggies but it is touch and go whether we can get access to these nappies due to the location in which we live. Furthermore, I am upset at Huggies decision to stop sales of Huggies nappies in the UK from sometime this year, they are still going to be selling their brand wipes but not the nappies however, they will be continuing to sell them in the United States. It's a shame to see what I feel is a good product, disappear from our shelves completely.
Anyway on to the actual product you can purchase these nappies in different pack sizes, which like many nappies is highly efficient as you can purchase how many you can afford/need at that particular time. I personally buy the economy packs which have the largest amount of nappies as not only does it work out cheaper but I have to bulk buy so it makes thinks easy for me than having to deal with lots of small packs.
The nappies hold quite a bit of fluid so they are fine for them to go all night through without soaking my baby was an average weight at birth and by the second month sleeping the whole night through so I therefore did not want to disturb him. They only start to leak when you are edging closer to the upper weight boundary which is why they give specific weights, so I would not see this as a limitation to the product.
The nappies themselves feel of good quality and have not affected my child's skin and he is prone to dry patches etc. They have a Disney motif on the front and the theme continues to the back where the size is also written. The nappies do not give off an offensive smell like some do when they are exposed to urine, so I definitely see this as an extreme positive.
For the price of the nappies I think you are getting great value for your money, again as I said before depending on your need/budget there is a pack of nappies with the amount that you need available, more importantly in the UK (at the moment) these nappies are incredibly easy to source and feature in most if not all leading supermarkets and retailers of similar baby products.
I don't have any negatives to say about these nappies only that I will miss the product when it is discontinued however, up until that point I will continue to use this product while I still can.
