Advantages: Good for baby and you and great value for money

Disadvantages: Yet to find one

I was surprised to see the quantity of reviews which said to stay clear of Huggies Pure baby wipes, hopefully with this review I am possibly going to change peoples perceptions of them!

I use baby wipes for EVERYTHING! There is always at least two packs in my room, a pack in my car etc. I started using Huggies baby wipes after my sister bought them to use on my baby niece.

For Babies

As advertised on the packaging Huggies Pure aim to be as gentle as cotton wool and water and they really are. They have been validated by the British Skin Foundation and are both alcohol and perfume free. They are thick wipes so do not tear when wiping babies bottoms. They are also so gentle that they are handy when out and about to clear up messy hands and faces J. My niece has never had any sort of reaction to these wipes and my sister now buys them often (in both the pure variety and with added aloe vera variety which is also good!). They seem to stick to there aim of being gentle to the most delicate of skin.

For You

After seeing how gentle they were to babies skin I decided to try them as make up wipes instead of their actual purpose! I find that they remove all make up efficiently - even eye make up and as they are thicker than normal makeup wipes only one is needed to clean the whole face. Usually I would never put a baby wipe near my face as they generally bring me out in spots, but these are different and I definitely recommend them as a makeup removing wipe instead of the typical fancy and sometimes overpriced brands.

Packaging

Come in a brightly coloured pack with plenty of information on the front which should entice you. Pack sticks shut and sticky seal does last until the last wipe I have found!

Price & Availability

Right now in Tesco the wipes are on sale at 3 packs for £4, works out at about £1.34 per pack. Perfect opportunity to by them in bulk! Each pack contains 72 wipes and I have found both with baby and myself that you do not use as many of these wipes as with standard baby wipes therefore excellent value for money.

Do I recommend them:

Definitely. In fact I think they deserve 5 stars!
~ Excellent value for money
~ Great for baby and you

Thanks for reading my review

Summary: Go give them a try!

I am a big fan of these. I bought some reduced and couldn't believe how 'clean' and non chemically they are. Good review.

These are always too wet and your fingers go right through them or they tear far too easily. Pampers everytime!!
