Advantages: Easy to use, good packaging, wor pretty well, no overpowering chemical smell.

Disadvantages: Expensive, next wipe does not always come out,

Whilst babysitting for my niece recently I reached out for the baby wipes after she had been sick and this was my sisters current packet of choice.

Huggies Pure come in a light blue & red packet with a resealable sticky plastic tab so that you can open the tab and pull out a wipe and then stick it back down to keep the rest of the wipes clean & prevent them from drying out.

The wipes are pretty thick and are embossed with little pictures of bears and paw prints which is quite a nice touch. If you have got a wipe out and the next one has not come to the top of the opening in the packet then it can be quite difficult to pick one of these wipes out as the fibres begin to tear away and this makes gripping the middle of one of the wipes quite difficult. I didn't find there were any problems with more than one wipe coming out of the opening at a time unless the top wipe had not come out when I pulled the wipe before it out (as it should do before of the interleaving).

My niece is prone to sensitive skin flare-ups (like quite a few babies) and these wipes have not caused any problems with nappy rash or dryness and she doesn't complain when being cleaned with these so they obviously aren't too harsh for a babies skin.

They make things smell nice, clean & fresh and are pretty good at lifting pooh, sick, juice etc off Ruby-Lu's face, the carpet etc and they are useful for keeping in a handbag or changing bag when on the go to mop up any spills or accidents.

These wipes are currently on offer 72 wipes for £1.00 (usual price £2.44) and I think at the offer price it's definitely worth stocking up, however, I wouldn't want to pay £2.44 for these when there are far more superior wipes for less money.

These wipes could be improved and although they are nice and thick and do clean pretty well they are a little bit too saturated for my liking and the fibre tear that occurs can make it difficult to get them out of the packaging or can even lead to me pulling out several of them at the same time.

I am going to rate these wipes 3/5 as I do think they are only average. They did clean pretty well and didn't have an overpowering chemical smell, like some wipes, however, I just wasn't very pleased with them especially as they are double the price of some other packs of wipes when not on offer.

Summary: An average packet of baby wipes
