I brought these baby wipes because they were on special offer at £1.00 a pack, I wanted them for face wipes but remembered we needed some for my sisters nappy changes and because there's a big sticker on them saying Gentle Cleaning Like Cotton Wool And Water I thought they would be kinder than the other ones we buy.

These wipes are rubbish though. Most people you hear talking will say the thicker the wipes are the better they will be but these are madly thick and even though they're ok for taking my make up off they're useless for changing my sister's bum and that's what they were made for.

They are that thick that they feel stiff when you use them and even them being embossed doesn't make them any easier to handle. I changed a stinky nappy with one of these wipes this morning and it was stupid, the wipe made it hard to get hold of the mess and she ended up worse than before I started and I had to shout someone to bring me a Pampers wipe!

They smell boring as well, there's no perfume in the wipes but most fragrance free baby things still smell nice. These don't and they've got a proper weird smell that's a bit like how Wet Wipes used to smell but not half as nice.

When I use them as face wipes I think they make my skin feel a bit tight and dry after and I don't really like the feel of them because they're not soft and feel a bit like they're scrubbing my skin clean.

You get 72 wipes in a pack and now I know how rubbish they are I wish I'd just brought one pack instead of half a dozen thinking I was being clever and saving some money!
