I have used a whole array of nappies since my son was born. He is now 8 months old and typically wearing 4+ nappies depending upon the brand.
Huggies tend to be the brand I purchase most often - they always seem to be on special offer somewhere and when they are I stock up!

I like to shop in Tesco in order to boost my club card points but have found of late that there are much better nappy deals to be had elsewhere, even taking into account club card points.
My latest Huggies purchase was made this week at good old Home Bargains. I bought a Value box containing 75 size 4+ nappies (9-16kg or 20-35lb) for £7.99. This equates to 10.65p per nappy.
The cheapest price per nappy currently at Tesco works out at 14 pence per nappy - this is when purchasing 87 nappies. So there is quite a difference in price.

The nappies I bought came in a brightly coloured blue and yellow cardboard box with easy carry handles on either side. Within the box are three individually sealed nappy pouches, each containing 25 nappies.
The nappy itself is white with an orange coloured trip and depicts various Winnie the Pooh characters on the front - the one I am looking at now shows Winnie holding a large purple ball. To the rear there is a more discrete character playing with a smaller ball, on the front of this is the nappy size.

The nappies are elasticated around the leg area - there is quite a lot of give, my son has quite chunky 'football player' legs as his grandma calls them and we have not experienced any difficulties. Now that he is crawling, he is able to move around with ease and is not restricted at all by the nappy. Great for very active babies.
We have also not experienced any leakage during crawling. We have however experienced an outfall of BM on to the floor but this was when my son was particularly manic in his door baby bouncer, I'm sure this would have happened with any brand of nappy.

The nappies are fitted in place from back to front with resealable tags on either side. There isn't a vast amount of give in the tags themselves, they can be pulled and stretched slightly but overdo it and they tend to rip off. Fortunately, the upper rear part of the nappy is also elasticated and this provides any additional flexibility required.

The nappies are excellent for everyday use, extremely absorbent - we have not had any problems with nappy rash. Up until the last week or so, the nappies would last over 12 hours during the night without any leakage. Unfortunately now that my son has decided that he is much more comfortable lying on his tummy we have had at least three wet beds this week alone. The urine once inside the nappy, seems to make its way to the upper part of the nappy towards the belly button - I have managed to prevent a wet bed a couple of times although the baby gro has been wet around the middle.
I'm hoping that this is in part due to my son having a cold and drinking much more than usual and of course sleeping for longer periods.

This is an extremely reliable brand of nappy, absorbent, kind to baby's skin and on the whole pretty much leak free. These factors combined with a very competitive price result in the product being great value for money.

Summary: Good Value for Money
