... of a very happy lookng baby on the side which is always appealing! They are fragrance free which i think is great as it doesn't upset my daughter and I then don't associate the 'fragrance' with nappy-changing. It's funny how soon a seemingly pleasant smell can suddenly be associated with a mucky event once they're assigned to a cleaning profuct! They're designed especially for babies with sensitive skin and can be used from birth (although midwives advice not to usew ipes until th ebaby is approx 3 weeks old...). Th...more

Poor baby Jack, about a week after he was born he decided to do what I fondly call a "toxic poop" unfortunately he chose to do this during the night and failed to wake us up, obviously comfy in it's warmth (strange little boy) the next morning he was left with a very red, very sore bottom. At the time we were using the Huggies Pure wipes on him but I also had a pack of the Aloe Vera & Vitamin E wipes which promise to help prevent the causes of nappy rash, following on the success of the Pure wipes I decided to give the Aloe wipes a go, hoping they would soothe my little ones sore patches and stop the rash getting worse. Premium Review not the best baby wipe (438 words)

There are so many different kinds of wipes out there and before you havea baby you think that all wipes are pretty much the same. I would look at the nappy aisle and marvel at all the different kids of wipes, the different brands and what they all claim to do, surely they can';t be that different? Now that my daughter is 5 months old I consider myself an expert in all things baby-related! I can tell the difference between a huggie's wipe and a pampers wipe and, it has to be said, i prefer pampers. These wipes come in a red and blue packet which contain 72 wipes. The packet stands out easily as it's colours are bright and there's a picture of a very happy ...  Read the complete review

THE BACKGROUND: Baby wipes get used for a few different things in my house. Mostly, it's for cleaning one of the boys' bottoms, but we also use them for wiping mouths and hands (occasionally our own). We buy Asda's own wipes in my house, but my mother in law often pops in with a packet of these. The pack I have in front of me has 64 wipes, each infused with aloe and vitamin E. THE PACKAGING: The main thing I notice about the packaging is the picture of a baby on it, which is an unneccessary way of reminding us these are baby wipes and not, well what? The tag line says 'helps prevents the causes of nappy rash'. Personally, I think this is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Huggies wipes wet and wonderful (337 words)

These wipes are brilliant in any form from the sensitive to the pure. They are always moist to be able to clean your childs bottom in just one wipe almost the cheap own brands and even pampers I have found you have to use almost half a pack to clean away the mess and they are not cheaper on some occasions. I have found the pampers wipe will leave a urine smell on my childs skin this is not the case with the huggies they clean thourerly leaving the skin spotless and smelling quite nice. They do not cause rashes and eventhough they are very wet they do not leave the skin wet for the next nappy to go on. They are also kind on the skin which means I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Huggies Wipes +Aloe & Vitamin E: not for sore bottoms (174 words)

i usually buy tesco or morrisons own wipes they are good value and about 99p for 80 wipes. however on one trip to the supermarket i saw that huggies wipes were half price i think they were about £1.24 for 64 wipes. i wouldnt have normally paid full price for these wipes as i dont like to spend too much on these things. i got the aloe vera type and also the shea butter ones. i considered that being a well known brand they might be better for little bottoms!! unfortunately these wipes are quite harsh, they are nice and thick but quite rough to baby soft skin. Jack was suffering quite a sore bottom anyway so these didnt help, in fact he seemed to get redder and sorer with ...  Read the complete review
