Advantages: Good range of sizes, good nappy

Disadvantages: what is the point of winnie the pooh, baby can't see it

I have tried them all, every nappy from the cheap to the expensive. I have two babies, two different sizes, which means two different sized nappies. I began by putting them both in the same size, which was okay for a while, but the size difference now means either the nappy is too tight or too big. So two different sizes...and Huggies have won.

I used 4+ for a time, which worked till the biggest had red legs. He uses size 5 and the other I have moved to a size 4(he will be having size 4+ next batch). At them moment Boots is offering a good deal, so price wise it works well 2 big packs for £16 and all the clubcard points.

Compared with Pampers I find Huggies the superior nappy, the price of pampers is too high for little extra benefit. With Pampers I dislike lotion being added, one of mine is allergic to all sorts so I like to monitor what he uses. I don't want it added regardless. With regards to quality of nappy, we don't have any leaks with Huggies, unlike with some of the supermarkets own brands.

Sainsbury's stuck to baby's bum, I have no idea why, Bambino leaked, Morrisons - the stuff inside came out, Tesco's filling bunched up & separated.

Despite the extra cost over the supermarket ones, I will always choose Huggies. Babies are happier, and go through the night without any trouble(except when they want to change themselves!!). My only real niggle is the pattern, I would rather pay less than have a winnie the pooh design, I don't feel there is a need for it, the baby can't see it & I don't care very much for winnie the pooh or any other cartoon character.

Summary: I like Huggies

I think with all your expereince you could write a great general nappy review - all the brands you tried, and maybe even different types (pull-up, normal, disposable, maybe non-disposable too?). The thing I would like to know is what ages your children are and also maybe bit more about the range Huggies offer.

NB My personal experience is that everything but Pampers leaked though Huggies were good in the pull-up stage....
