Advantages: good design wide leg cuffs

Disadvantages: they leek and fall down

Being a mum of 4 children i have used huggies on a number of occasions most recently with my 1 year old son.

The look of the nappy is very stylish and appealing they have the Winnie the poo design on the front of the nappy and they have wide leg cuffs with re-fasanable strips to do them up with which always comes in handy.

The most recent huggies nappies i have used were the huggies supreme they were on special offer at boots for £4.99 and although i was reluctant to buy them i thought i would give them another try as they were a new brand of huggies.

In past years i have stayed clear of huggies for 3 main reasons they leak they fall down and the micro beads that are supposed to keep moisture in fall out of the nappy when it is wet.

I was totally surprised by the huggies supreme range although they still leaked at night time and fell down on the odd occasion the little micro beads stayed where they are supposed to inside the nappy instead of all over my sons bottom.

The wide leg cuffs although they make it easier for the moisture to leak out they enabled my son to move around more freely at the fraction of the cost of pampers active fit.

We did experience nappy rash with these nappy's though as we have done with all the huggies range i think this is due to the nappy not being thick enough to hold all the moisture in.

All in all though i would probably use huggies again but only if they upgraded the upgrades i feel that huggies should spend less time on the picture on the nappy and more time on the design of the nappy itself as although they have got most of what us mums want wright by having the wide leg cuffs for free movement and the micrio beads stay put now they need to introduce some kind of super absorbent layer in the nappy that actually works.

Summary: needs faster absorbtion.
