Advantages: Fit smaller babies well

Disadvantages: Cost

I started off with pampers new baby nappies. As my daughter was only 5lbs 14 oz, however, these were a little on the large side. Somebody told me that Huggies nappies tended to come up smaller, even though they are recommended for the same size baby as pampers, so I gave them a try.
The huggies nappies did seem to come up slightly smaller and they fitted my new baby well.
The nappies are lovely and soft, stretchy and well elasticated. My daughter experienced no signs of nappy rash using these nappies.
Although a little small to appreciate it, the 'winnie the pooh' baby characters on the nappies are a nice touch.
I found that most supermarkets offered a special deal on buying two packs of the 28 pack nappies and there were also some 'Huggies' promotions being offered within the stores that gave me some money off vouchers also.
I did find that there were some occasional accidents with these nappies, although this was mainly over night.

Overall, I would recomment these nappies, especially if your baby is on the smaller size and I would use them again myself with another newborn baby.

Summary: Soft and absorbant, but can be expensive.
