Advantages: A good variety of products

Disadvantages: Leaked and made my son's bottom very sore!

I have used numerous different nappy brands on my Son and I found that Huggies, although they are one of the more expensive brands, very disappointing.

I first tried the size 1 newborn nappies, i had also bought Pampers and Tesco own brand. As soon as I started putting him in the Huggies he started to get a very red bottom that made him cry out in pain when i tried to clean him up. I also found that they leaked overnight and the little absorbant balls from inside the nappy where coming out! I got half way through the pack before I gave up on them.

A few months ago I thought I would try them again and went for the Huggies Natural Fit nappies. They claim to be shaped to fit the baby better and have unbeatable absorbency. After 2 nappy changes I notice my sons bottom was begining to get very red, so I smothered him in a barrier cream thinking it might be because he could be teething.

Overnight I had the same problem I'd had with the newborn nappies. I found that they were prone to leaking and wasn't keeping him as dry as a rival brand, because of this his bum got so sore it looked raw and this was only after 3 days of using Huggies.

These nappies definately did not agree with my son and I would not use them in the future nor would I recommend them to anybody.

As every child is different it is best to try a few brands until you find the ones that suit best, unfortunately Huggies are a complete no-no for us!

Summary: Paying more does not mean quality
