Advantages: No leaks, good fit.

Disadvantages: Bit more expensive than supermarket one brand nappies

Befroe my mlittle girl was born I decided to buy a pack from each range so I could sample and see what worked best for us. In the first few weeks they were much of a muchness as we were changing her after every feed so she never went longer than about 4 hours between changed day or night.

At about 6 weeks she started sleeping for around 8 hours, this is when the Huggies nappies really started to stand out from the rest. I could pop her in a Huggies Newborn and it didn't leak! I had an awful experience overnight with Pampers where she got so wet it soaked through her vest, sleepsuit, sleeping bag, sheet and mattress and the board in the bottom of the crib was also wet!

We soon moved onto the Super Dry ones as she grew into the next size and these are also so absorbant, she now has a clean nappy after her bath at 5.45pm and I don't have to change it until after she has had breakfast at 6-7am! And then I only change it cos it feels so squishy - it would probably not leak for longer if I was a bad mummy and left her.

We also use the Natural Fit nappies during the day as although she isn't on the move yet I feel that these will give her the freedom to explore her movements more than the Super Dry ones.

Both style of nappies are lovely and soft, although the Super Dry feel a bit more crinkly than the Natural Fit and they both have elastic at the back for a better fit.

I can't say they are a super nappy and contain poo but then I haven't found a nappy that can contain every exploding poo incident without fail! Although we did have a couple of incidents with the Pampers where it came straight out the leg and shot about 2 feet(!!!) - with the Huggies it just tends to ooze rather than shoot out!

They also have a variety of Winnie the Pooh characters printed on them, I don't think my daughter really notices these at 16 weeks old but Mummy likes them! It seems that each time I open a new pack I get a different design as well.

Huggies are currently running a promotion where you get 25% extra free and many supermarkets then have their own 2 carry packs for £16 offer on as well on the Natural Fit - this means you get 104 nappies for £16 which works out at 15p per nappy.

Summary: A good leak free option.

After having four children I can honestly say that Huggies nappies were the best, we found that every tim e apampers nappy was used there was leakage and they disintergrated really quickly! With my first(a boy) I actually used Peauduce and they were very good, when I had my second a girl they were no longer available and I checked out all of the brands available and found Hggies to be the best. We then used Huggies for our twin girls and again we were not disappointed. I guess it comes down to which sex they suit best! Great review xx Karen
