Advantages: kept my baby warm, dry and happy

Disadvantages: not the cheapest

I used Huggies all the way through my sons nappy stage, and they fitted him like a glove.

I tried Pampers, and other cheaper brands, but none fitted the bill as Huggies did.

I also found that, when I worked out how many more of the cheaper nappies I was getting through per day it was acutally costing more to put him in the cheaper nappies, as I was getting through them at about twice the rate!

Not to mention his poor bum, which got sore.
So I decided to go back to Huggies after about a week.

I had to go through the turmoil of the companies deciding to make unisex, instead of the seperate sex nappies, which at first i though would be difficult and that they wouldnt be as good, but I was happily shown to be wrong, the unisex nappies worked just as well.

Huggies also come in a great range of sizes, from newborn (2-5Kg) right up to junior (11-25Kg)

My son is now out of nappies, but we did go through that stage between, where you sit up wondering if he is going to wee bed any moment.

I decided to stick with Huggies through this stage too, and purchased a pack of Huggies Pull ups for him to wear during the night, and they worked a treat. Even if he did have an accident, the bed was dry as were his pyjamas.

ALthough they are a little expensive, I found the pull ups real good value when I considered the amount of extra laundry I would have had to do without them!

The pull ups come in two different sizes too, medium (9-15KG) and Large (14-25Kg)

The pull ups also made my son realise he was going through a change in his life, and they helped me to explain to him that he didnt wear nappies anymore, that he was changing.

From talking to other parents too, it would seem that Huggies are the preferred favourite for little boys, and Pampers for little girls.

That is only from my experience, and am not saying that is the 'norm', it is just what my circle
of aquaintances have found.

Anyway, keep those bottoms fluffy!

Oh, and also, Huggies are very generous when it comes to sending things back!
