Advantages: Brilliant Velcro like fastening., No leeks from both toddler and baby overnight.
Disadvantages: The fact that they reduced the amount of nappies in a pack when they changed the names and kept the price the same.
I love these nappies I used to think that Pampers were the best thing since sliced bread but since the recent changes or improvements to both Pampers and Huggies I have been buying Huggies all the time. They come in a variety of different names and sizes which are; Beginners - Newborn 2-5kg - Small 3-6kg Freedom - Small/Medium 5-9kg - Medium 8-14kg - Medium/Large 10-16kg -large 12-22kg Adventurers - Medium Plus 9-15kg - LargePlus 12kg they used to be much more simple as they only came in newborn, mini, midi, maxi, maxi plus and Junior. The only bad thing is the amount of nappies seems to have been reduced, for a convenience carry pack (smallest type of pack) you pay £5.65 (in tescos) you used to get 30 junior sized nappies now with the new shape and new name you only get 24 adventurers in th large plus size, this is the only downside. The nappies are very good and hold alot they keep both my son, Callum 2 years 7 months, and his sister, Lucy 9 months, dry all nght and there is no urgent need for a nappy change first thing in the morning, some mornnings this is the last thing you want to do! The reasons behind the new names and styles of nappies, especially the adventurers, are so that leg movements in the toddler aren't restricted too much, so they have cut away the nappy around the leg making it easier for the toddler to run, jump or climb anywhere. There is a bigger elasticated cuff round the legs though so as to not make the nappy leek.I havent mentioned nappy rash that is because my two have never had it!! I would reccommend this excellent nappy to anyone, no matter how active their baby or toddler is, because they can not be anymore active than my two!! Out of all the other brands of nappies i have bought the supermarkets ones are quite good especailly Tescos or safeways, but nothing measures up to Huggies not even my second favourite Pampe
rs. The last thing that i have to mention is the brilliant fastener on the huggies nappies its more like velcro then a sticky tabs which is brilliant if like me you put a nappy on anf then have to re fasten it because your toddler breathes out, like dear little Callum does. well done Huggies this nappy is the best ever.

- 12/06/01 I can not buy these as I am too concerned about what happens to the nappys when full or yuck. I much prefer to use something reusable. |
