Advantages: give peace of mind

Disadvantages: none

I am going through that stressful time of potty training my toddler and although most of the time during the day he is dry, there are a few occasions when we are out and about that the odd accident occurs (usually when he is engrossed with an activity).

I purchased a pack of pull-ups after seeing an advert on National Tv, large ones for 32-40llbs as my toddler is nearly 3, and we use them on occasions at playgroup , long journeys and even at night. The good thing about them is that my son treats them like pants and will still ask to use the potty while wearing them which is want we want to happen. It is a relief to know that if my son does forget then the pull-ups will absorb a little mishap without the ambarrasment of wet clothes to change in public.

A nice touch is that the pull-ups have pictures of Mickey Mouse on them and my son finds that very amusing and calls them his "posh pants".

I'm using Pull Ups on and off as we are just starting Potty Training. They are attractive to children and make them feel "big" as they step into them rather than lay down to have a nappy put on. My only criticism is that they can be a little tight and I think the band at the side of their hips is a little overlarge and restrictive.
