Advantages: Soft, comfortable, contain nappy contents well, keeps baby's bum dry, great value

Disadvantages: more expensive than cheap brands - but well worth it

I joined Huggies Mother & Baby club while pregnant and they sent me loads of money off vouchers for packs of huggies, (half price, £1 off etc) so I stocked up with about 9 newborn packs, plus one of Sainsbury's Performers & a few free samples of Pampers nappies.
I used the Huggies nappies straight away and they were excellent, a couple of days later I tried the Pampers nappies and they leaked! I found that Huggies had a really good fit and contained all the nappy contents well, whereas anytime I used Pampers or Sainsbury's nappies, I got pooey leaks round the legs and on my babies clothes (not nice!).

They keep your babies bum nice and dry so my baby has never had nappy rash. I like the soft waistband and tabs on these nappies too - other brands haven't been as soft round the waist and have had scratchy tabs.

Using cheaper nappies means more changes, so I have found it is best to stick to a good brand - it saves you time and money in the long run.

If you are a member of the Huggies Mother & Baby Club - they keep on sending you lots of vouchers for £1 off a packet - my son is now 5 months old and I've never paid full price for a packet of nappies yet! This means that I have saved a considerable amount of money over time.

I found Pampers and Sainsburies were both a bit useless, Huggies and Tescos were the only disposables I found any where near as good as reusables.
