Premium Review Huggies: Poor product (85 words)
by - written on 26/08/00 (Useful, 11 readings)
Rating:

I used these nappies when my son was born and found that i really did not like them. They seemed to fit badly, they were very tight around the sensitive skin on his legs. They were made of a very coarse material to touch which i didn't like. A friend had recommended them to me but i was not impressed and switched to using Pampers instead. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Huggies – Tried the rest these are the best (151 words)
by - written on 25/08/00 (Very useful, 11 readings)
Rating:

I have been a member of a Huggies club since the twins were born. They send you out information relevant to the stage your baby is at and vouchers for money of the nappies – every little helps. But you wouldn’t buy the nappies if they didn’t perform! The biggest advantage of Huggies is that they stay in place ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Huggies the best (93 words)
by - written on 24/08/00 (6 readings)

Ever since I started using Huggies nappies 4 years ago for my first baby, they have always been my favourite. They are lovely and soft on the outside, very compact in size and very light. They hold a large amount of urine and I have never had a problem with leaks. Nappy rash is also very rare and that has only happened occasionally when ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I couldn't get on with Huggies. (114 words)
by - written on 24/08/00 (Useful, 15 readings)

I couldn't get on with Huggies, although I did give them a chance as I know they are very absorbent. The main problem I encountered was the fastening. I found that this often pulled off in my hand as I pulled it across to get a good fit round my wriggly baby! Also, the wide band on the fastening had to be really exactly positioned ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Huggies are a great fit! (137 words)

I've found that my daughter is on the smaller side of babies her age and therefore have found that huggies are a good fit! They don't seem to come as far up her body as other nappies giving more room for her to move. I also find the larger tabs hold the nappy securley although Olivia has now worked out how to undo them! Huggies ...  Read the complete review

No matter how often I come back to Huggies either through choice or neccessity we just do not get along. I find that they are too low down around the waist making it hard for me to do them up. I like to tuck the sides around my daughters belly adding extra protection and cannot do that with Huggies. Another problem I have with them is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Huggies: Useless (113 words)
by - written on 19/08/00 (Useful, 22 readings)
Rating:

I found huggies nappies to be totally useless for my newborn child. I found they made her sore and always leaked. I switched to Pampers and her soreness left instantly and they never leaked. I tried them again at a later date as my local store didn't have the right size in stock and once again they leaked really quickly. I would have ...  Read the complete review

A few days ago I never imagined I would be writing a review of nappies but when I saw this section I just had to write a quick review of Huggies. Our son, Jamie, was born almost 2 years ago and we have used Huggies since his birth. There has been the the odd ocassion where we ran out and bought some cheaper ones from the local store but I have ...  Read the complete review

With my last daughter who is 19 months now. I have not been able to use Huggies, each time I have tried she has such bad nappy rash. I thought it was just the way she was at the time, so i did ude the agai and again over the moths, but each time, she would come up so sore and bleed, so i have come to the conclusion it was some thing used to make ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Huggies: a pleasnt surprise (106 words)
by - written on 11/08/00 (Very useful, 22 readings)
Rating:

I have to admit that Huggies are the best nappy I have tried. The thing that sets them apart from any other nappy is that the are longer, which means that they actually wrap around a childs stomach, unlike any other nappy I have used. This prevents leaking which is which, as most parents know is a nightmare. Also, the tabs are wide which enables ...  Read the complete review

Having had 2 children I knew that I was going to use disposable nappies for them both, with my first child I used pampers permanantly, but when I had my little girls I thought I would try some of the other ones,I tried all kinds and found that most of them leaked or she got sore or they felt uncomfortable. I got to huggies and when I felt the ...  Read the complete review

When I first bought a packet of Huggies nearly 3 years ago it was due to the fact that they were a pound cheaper in Boots and remaind so for about another 5 months or so. These nappies were definetly a bargain they really do work exceedingly well -you'll not get any damp patches on clothes with Huggies. The soft outer wrapping is really good ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Huggies not for us! (111 words)
by - written on 01/08/00 (Useful, 15 readings)
Rating:

I was not impressed with these nappies which I found to be a little on the skimpy side, despite choosing the correct weight range for my son. For one, they were not long enough from waist to inside length and they could have been longer width-ways, so the fastening tapes could meet nearer the middle. I really believe once you ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Best disposable nappies (100 words)
by - written on 28/07/00 (Very useful, 49 readings)
Rating:

I have found these nappies to be one of the best. Yes, they do leak sometimes but then, I haven't found a nappy that doesn't. They are quite affordable and keep doing special offers such as 17 and a half percent free. Asda has also rolled back the price of them which makes them even better. The tabs on them are more of a velcro type ...  Read the complete review

What a wonderful idea I thought.......a nappy that my daughter will be able to pull up and down herself but if she forgot that she needed the loo that was no problem either. What a big mistake that was! When you think that a nappy has to be tight to stop leaks, how on earth are they going to make a nappy that is easy for small fingers to pull ...  Read the complete review

I have used huggies nappies on my children for the last 5 years.During this time I have found them to be excellent value for money because none of my kids have had nappy rash, which means I never had to buy creams, whilst I used these nappies. When I tried other brands trying to save a few pence off the retail price,I noticed that they started to ...  Read the complete review

As an expectant mum looking around for the first time I was amazed by the choice in Nappies, How can there be so many different ones all just doing the smae job. And how much wee can one small baby produce? Now as an "experienced mum" I know the answer - quite alot. I have tried Asda, Boots, Safeway, Pampers and ...  Read the complete review

I have used Huggies since my son was born, I have never been tempted to buy shops own brand, due to the fact that he has never had nappy rash or leaks. I receive that many vouchers for money off that they are the same price as shops own brand. The sizing of the nappies are very good, my son weighed almost 10lb when he was born and I found that ...  Read the complete review
