Advantages: cleans delicate skin and smell delicious

Disadvantages: none really- it's great

I have two young sons who are now aged 4 and 5 years, and have only just discovered the delights of using Infacare Ultra Mild Baby Bath on them (and myself!).

Now although this is widely used in the majority of hospitals (in the maternity sections) I had never come across this before, until a doctor recommended it a few months ago for my older son's sensitive skin.
(I did have both my children in hospital and was brought water with soapy bubbles in to bathe my babies and presumed it was Johnsons as a midwife had recommended it..Anyway...back to the review)

The product~
Infacare is a clinically tested, ultra mild baby bath for delicate skin. It comes in a 400ml bottle which is quite basic to look at - white with blue lettering and a cartoon drawing of a baby and some bubbles on the front. It certainly isn't fancy looking and if you weren't intending to buy it or didn't know what it was it wouldn't grab your attention on the shelf.

The price~
This varies as I have seen this size bottle between £1 and £2.50 in various different shops so do look around.

The bubble bath~
On opening the clear plastic flip lid at the top of the bottle you can instantly smell this lovely baby bath. It is really hard to pinpoint what the actual aroma is as there is no obvious undertone such as lavender for example. The only way I can closely describe it is a 'baby smell' - think of that smell babies have (no I don't mean sick or dirty nappies- you know that delicious new baby smell!) Go on just close your eyes..Mmmm..Ooh think my ovaries took over there for a minute! Anyway that smell about comes close! The actual liquid is a lovely blue in colour and is similar to the blue lettering on the bottle. The liquid is more on the runny side than thick and you have to be careful when squeezing some into the bath that you don't use too much.

Why I like this~
I love this product as it's so versatile. I not only use it as a bath foam, but it doubles up as a hair and body shampoo too. I often use it when I have a bath or shower and it leaves the skin so clean and soft with the beautiful aroma lingering for at least 24 hours. If applying a small drop to a sponge it soaps up very well and you can wash your entire body with a small amount. I can't express how strongly I do like this and if I get hubby to agree to another baby (Fingers and toes crossed..desperate? Me? What gave you that idea Lol??!) then this will be the number one choice for it's bath time regime.

Miscellaneous~
*The baby bath is made by Proctor and Gamble
*It's PH Balanced
*Can be used on newborns
*If used sparingly will last a few months as a small amount really lathers up well.

Summery~
Heaven!

Loved using this on my first daughter but unfortunately its not mild enough for my second daughter...we now have to use unscented stuff for her...boring!
