When my boys were first born near enough all the smellies I had bought for them were the Johnsons brand including Johnsons Baby Bath.
I have always had good experiences using this brand on myself and friends children, and known it to be soft and gentle on the skin.
There are so many bottles and tubes to choose from but so you don't get confused if looking for this one, Johnsons Baby Bath is usually found in the Baby Blue bottles with the flip top lids. You can purchase it in supermarkets, stores such as Boots and Superdrug and possibly even your local poundshops - but with these the writing on the back is usually not English.
I am in two minds about the baby bath really, I have always been impressed with Johnsons products but this is probably the only product which actually doesn't help with a problem my older twin suffers with. He tends to suffer with dry skin here and there and I find if he baths in this it worsens a bit. But I then massage him in baby lotion which helps soothe the dry skin, it works but I don't want to keep doing this after he's had a bath in it all the time.
Only once I've tried using it as a proper bubble bath, and it didn't produce any bubbles at all, instead it left a lovely, clean scent in the water. The liquid itself is blue, quite an attractive blue actually and pretty thick to so doesn't get messy and run everywhere. It lathers up well on my boys bodies, and leaves them smelling so beautiful and fresh after a bath and for a good few hours afterwards I can still smell it lingering on their skin.
You can buy either small or large bottles of Johnsons Baby bath, the smaller bottles being roughly £1.80 and the larger bottles over £2. If they had a body lotion which smelt like this I would definitely buy it and reccomend it but I have stopped using it due to it drying out my sons skin even more. My youngest twin was fine with it, but my oldests skin just became drier than what it already was. It is a shame as it did give them a good clean and left them both smelling stunning.
I would reccomend this to people who do not have sensitive skin already, as I've already said it doesn't cause problems for my youngest boy at all his skin is always smooth and soft and Johnsons Baby Bath adds a lovely, fresh smell to, however if you have sensitive skin this will probably make it a little worse. I like bath lotions etc which provide moisture and nourishment for the body but this obviously doesn't as my boys dry patches widen and worsen after if I use this.
