Johnsons is a name synonymous with superior baby products. And we all want the best for our little munchkins dont we! Before Rachel was born we said that we would stick to a budget with regards all the miscellaneous items that go with having a baby. Well that thought soon flew out the window when we laid eyes on her for the first time. Suddenly overcome with more love and affection that we have ever known for anyone or anything before, everything that we had bought prior to the birth was stuffed into the back of a cupboard only to resurface if we were really desperate, and in came Johnsons. I let Bestdad bath Rachel for the first two weeks because I was so scared I would inflict serious injury on something so tiny and fragile. When it came to Bestdad returning to work, I found the basket of products that my mum and sisters had spent hours collecting before the birth, and in it was the Liquid Soap. And now, 17 months on, I wouldnt swap my Liquid Soap for anything - not even a Cadburys Dairy Milk Bar. Well actually..... Introducing My Favourite Product ******************************** When it comes to bathing time, you already have a seriously slippery baby to contend with. The last thing you need is a seriously slippery bar of soap aswell. As you've only got one hand free you cant rub the soap bar onto the flannel or sponge with any great conviction. The beauty of Liquid Soap is that it comes in a handy pump bottle so, with a little practice, you can expertly press the pump with your finger whilst the palm of your hand is underneath, ready to catch it. It comes in a 250ml white bottle with a pink pump attachment. It's much milder than a soap too, so if your baby suffers from sensitive skin this would be an ideal product. Its hypoallergenic and pH balanced. Where To Get It *************** When my first bottle ran out I struggled to find a replacement. I was completely panic-stricken; I
couldnt find it in any of the main shopping superstores like Asda or Morrisons and eventually, to my relief, I tracked it down to Superdrug. Price ***** It's certainly not as cheap as a bar of soap, at £1.99 per 250ml bottle, but it lasts and lasts, and is actually more economical. My first bottle lasted us for 6 months (and yes, I did give her a bath more than once a week!). I usually end up throwing away bars of soap that have cracked and flaked. With a liquid, you dont have this problem. I know, I should be recycling them!! Instructions For Use, and Results ********************************* It's really easy to use, as I said you can use it with one hand. I just rub it straight onto Rachels skin without a flannel or sponge. It lathers up nicely, but not too much, and has a very silky feel to it. One 'pump' usually completes her front, and another 'pump' completes her back. Once she's out of the bath and on the towel to be dried, you can really feel the results. Her skin is so babysoft and smooth - just as it should be. And it smells wonderful; the fragrance lingers until the morning. In fact, this is my favourite thing about the product; the smell is absolutely divine which, if my nose serves me right, is based on Bananas. And the good news is that adults can use it too! Conclusion ********** I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with children, especially babies. It may be a little difficult to track down, but it sure is worth it. You'll want to bathe them half a dozen times a day, just for the smell! Out of all the baby products I've used over the past seventeen months this is by far the best, and I say next time you're out shopping you go tract this product down. Go on, you wont regret it.
