This has to be the absolute must for any new mum and baby!! Luckily, my first bottle of 'Johnson's Baby Lotion' was bought by someone else as part of a pack of 'baby essentials', when I had a baby shower just before I left work. The make 'Johnson and Johnson' has a good reputation and I think most people would agree that it has good products. The baby lotion claims: ** Mildness Clinically Proven ** Best for Baby ** Best for You ** Mild enough for newborm babies ** Enriched with protective ingredients ** For babysoft and babyfresh skin ** 8/10 British midwives use Johnsons baby on their own ... I can't imagine my bathroom cabinet without a bottle of baby lotion and that was before I had my son, it definitely wouldn't leave now. It has so many uses. It is a really good moisturiser on adult and baby skin, it really helps to soothe sunburn, a lot better than most after sun creams. And I have super-burn skin and need to wear factor 30 so I have tried and tested many!! It has a really cooling feeling if you apply it to sore skin. Although it doesn't stop the itching it soothes insect bites and skin irritations quite well. I love using it on my son because it leaves his skin so gorgeously soft. They also do a bedtime bath baby lotion that has ... Read the complete review

Is it just me, or do all new mums have to have Johnson's products? I think that many new mums do get given these products in baby essentials kits etc, as Johnson and Johnson's have such a good reputation and I think the smell of their products epitomises the smell of new born babies. These are probably the three reasons why I use Johnson's Baby Lotion, the reputation, the smell and the fact that I have a whole stash that was given to us whilst I was pregnant and when our son was born. I use the lotion on my little one after his bath with a soothing massage in the hope that it will make him sleepy. A small amount goes a really long way and leaves his skin ... I get really dry skin on occassion, especially when I wear a lot of make up, or in winter when the cold weather gets at my skin. Johnsons Baby Lotion is great a great moisturer, which is reasonably priced and smells great. Johnsons Baby Lotion has a really lovely fresh baby smell, when applied it is non greasy and doesnt leave that sticky feeling on your skin that can be really annoying. It works really well as a moisturiser and if applied every day can get rid of dry skin, and will leave skin feeling soft and fresh. It didnt take too ling after begining use for my skin to be back in good shape, maybe around 4 days, which is a really ... Read the complete review

I am a big fan of Johnson's products, as not only do they have a lovely, pleasant and fresh scent but they are so gentle to your body. I've been using Johnsons baby lotion on myself for years, the days when I found out what make up was, thats when I began using it. I didnt want to keep paying over £3 for a pack of make up wipes (Pack of 10 Usually which don't last 2 minutes) to remove my six tonne of foundation that I'd slapped on that day like Dulux paint so I decided to buy myself some Johnsons baby lotion and some cotton wool. Id squirt a bit onto the cotton woool and wipe it all over my face to remove my make up! It worked perfectly, and not only did it ... Read the complete review
