Advantages: gentle, versatile, inexpensive

Disadvantages: I don't like the smell

Firstly I'd just like to point out I don't have any babies, I buy Johnson's Baby Lotion for my own uses. I buy it from the supermarket and it lasts so long I actually can't remember the last time I had to purchase some, probably six months ago if not longer and it was about £2.50 for a large bottle at the time.

So, if I haven't got babies what do I use baby lotion for? It's main purpose for me is as an eye make up remover. It works a treat on any eye make up that isn't waterproof, waterproof mascara gets the baby oil treatment in my bathroom!

It also makes a gentle cleanser for the whole face, removes foundation and powder and leaves the face soft and fresh.

It's fantastic to take on holiday, I use it as a moisturiser in the evenings when we go somewhere hot, after a day of heavy sun cream baby lotion is perfectly sufficient to moisturise my skin and give it a chance to breath.

It's great as a hand cream and as a treatment for dry, cracked feet. Just apply to either at night, wear socks if you want a deeper moisturising effect and you have smooth, soft skin in the morning.

It's soothing after shaving your legs if you haven't got, or don't want to use, body lotion.

I'm not keen on the scent of baby lotion though, it's the one thing I don't really like, and I know most people do, but I can live with that for it's usefulness.

So as you can see it's an absolute necessity in my bathroom, it's extremely versatile and not just for babies! It has to be Johnsons though, it's thicker than other brands and gentler on the skin.

Summary: Very useful product for adults too!
